IHSAN understands that lack of safe drinking water and adequate sanitation and hygiene is the world's single largest cause of illness - most fatal to those living in disadvantaged communities. Therefore, IHSAN's mandate is to increase the availability of safe drinking water, adequate sanitation and hygiene, and related education through sustainable development projects, technology, and knowledge sharing.
